and Snowplow Rodeo

The Maine Chapter APWA put on the 7th Annual Highway Congress on June 4th and the event drew a record 119 vendors as well as over 1,000 visitors from 140 Maine communities. What follows are photographs from the day's events.

Paving Demo by Pike Industries

Enterprise Trenchless Technologies, Inc. sets up early in the day for a directional boring demonstration pulling a 4" pipe under the midway.

Mark Hagar, Inc. workers install a StreetPrint demo in the fresh paving course. The design was later colored brick red (below right) and looks like the real thing, except it is stamped asphalt!

White Sign display gives everyone a hands on chance to view the latest in roll-up work zone signs.
